WWW.STUARTMCINNES1.MOONFRUIT.COM is moving to WWW.STUARTMCINNES.MOONFRUIT.COM in 2009. It is on the new website I'll be releasing my new internet only album entitled 'The White Sea', recorded from May - July 2008. The new website is currently under construction but will contain everything that's on this website, plus a new discography page and a new page giving all the information on the new album.

Since I last updated the site, I've posted another two new songs up on the myspace page, 'Holidays' and 'Wild Dear', [CLICK HERE] to hear them now. In September, I'll be releasing an internet only album which will be availible from the official Stuart McInnes site which is moving [CLICK HERE] to visit the new website. The songs will be taken from session I've been recording (from May to July) for an album called 'The White Sea', since I started though, plans have changed but I've got an albums worth recorded and although most songs are only demos, they will be released. Tracklisting will be posted up within the coming weeks.

LEVITATION EP is out now. From next Monday (26th May) samples from the EP will be available on my bebo page. Also, the lyrics page has been revamped slightly, and the lyrics to all the song on LEVITATION EP are up.

The reason LEVITATION EP took longer than expected was due to designing the CD itself - It looks really simple, which is what I'm going for with the solo EP's - there's more to it than meets the eye. SILENCE EP was the same, it was delayed by about 2 or 3 weeks. The EP's are finished now, and I'll post up the rest of the lyrics through the week.

The song 'Levitation' was re-written and recorded today all in less than two and a half hours. The new version is completely different from the first, basically it's a different song with the same title. Anyone who heard Silence EP, will notice a huge difference in the songwriting of the new EP, I've become a much better songwriter which, I think shows. The next step is designing LEVITATION EP, it shouldn't take long, it'll be in the same theme as the website. In the mean time, there's been two new HERCULEAN songs added to the internet...

Everythings being finalized at the moment with the new EP, I know I've posted up about 3 possible tacklistings for LEVITATION, but here's the final one, the one that will actually be the cd order...

The only track left to record is Levitation itself, which is only half written, the release date is still 14th April though. Plus all the tracks that didn't make the final tracklisting will be released through this very website throughout the year.

I've been busy recording alot of new songs, so far, 2 have been recorded for the new EP, entitled : LEVITATION EP, though I'll likely record another 8 I have had for a while. The latest song to be written for the LEVITATION session is called 'The Berlin Wall' It'll be up on the site around summer (I'll release the other 3 through the site as well). I've also been busy recording alot of demos for the next HERCULEAN release, which will be out later in the year. LEVITATION EP is out on April 14th, tracklisting availible on the LEVITATION page.
